5 tips for a hassle-free flight
Choose a seat near the back
If you choose a seat near the back, there’s a chance you’ll get the full three-seat row all to yourself, and an empty bin for your baggage. And, if you’re really lucky, you can exit using the plane’s back door.
Place bags side-by-side
Place your carry-on suitcase with the wheels towards the wall to make space for more bags side by side.
Pick a good seat
Are you a sleeper? Pick the window seat. Need to work? Maybe the middle seat isn’t that bad, since your laptop needs to be in your hand luggage during takeoff and landing anyway.
Heavy objects by your feet
Put heavy objects, such as duty-free shopping and laptops in your hand luggage, by your feet. The plane can bounce around a bit, and sometimes heavy items stored in the overhead bins fall out when they are opened.
Legroom vs. luggage
If you like having your bag under the seat in front of you, remember not to book one by the emergency exits.
