SAS deepens SXSW Commitment
In March, the new House of Scandinavia venue will be larger than ever, with official events taking place alongside regular attractions like presentations, concerts, lectures and panel discussions.
“The new, centrally-located riverside venue gives us the opportunity to be much more independent in terms of the events we run and the look and feel of the House of Scandinavia building,” says Cecilie Svegaarden Thune, head of Brand Experience at SAS. “We want to make it easier for our travelers, and we’re now offering packages including airline tickets, hotels and festival passes to our Scandinavian travelers.”
The direct Austin flight in 2020 will leave Copenhagen on 11 March and return on the 17th. and tickets are available now.
Early confirmed speakers for 2020 include former Nintendo President Reggie Fils-Aimé, activist Steve DeAngelo, Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté, Col Needham, founder of IMDb and music legend Nile Rodgers.
With SAS now an official SXSW partner, travelers will benefit from specially-priced packages that include hotels and passes for the event.
