Wet your whistle from the new SAS drinks menu
SAS is always updating and improving its onboard beverage menu, a practice that has made the airline a leader in this area. Wines are changed twice a year and since launching the New Nordic Food & Beverage concept nearly a year ago, eight different beers have been introduced, including one-of-a-kind beers from Danish brewery Mikkeller. Many are brewed and fermented using wild yeast, which means that when they are ready they’ll be served at the peak of their flavor and profile.
But one of the most exciting changes right now is the introduction of the new Charles Heidsieck Rosé Vintage Champagne, which SAS Head Chef Peter Lawrance believes beats any champagne served in business class anywhere in the world.
That is high praise indeed and well-deserved, as SAS continues to improve its Food & Beverage menus to give true travelers the new experience they’ve come to expect.
