SAS presents #TrueTravelerMusic: Stine Bramsen
Danish Stine Bramsen is mostly famous for being the singer in Alphabeat, but since 2013 she’s a solo artist. She quickly made her way up the Scandinavian charts and the song Prototypical went to the top. This summer she’ll be going out on tour.
Stine chooses her favorites, in her own words:
Tove Lo - Talking Body
This Swede had me humming her first single Habits (Stay High) for months and I think her newest single Talking Body has the same potential. I love her raspy voice and the vulnerability is brings to the rather powerful songs. I think Tove Lo has a big career in front of her and look forward to more music from her.

MØ - Walk this way
Mø is our Danish shooting star. She's got attitude and talent and she's a great live artist. Currently charting with the Major Lazer song Lean On across Europe, but I chose Walk This Way, because I think this girl is strong enough to make it on her own out there and this is one of her best songs in my opinion. Her raspiness is very similar to Tove Lo's actually, but most of Mø's music is more dancy. Check her out! We Danes got it going on.

Seinabo Sey - Hard Time
Yes, another Swede... I don't know what you put in the water up there, but it works! Seinabo Sey is also half Gambian and maybe that's why the soulful sound in her voice feels so authentic and really gets to me in the best way. There's a darkness to the lyrics and the melody which really works well with the upbeat dancy feel of the track.
These three girls all write lyrics that have meaning and prove that pop music can have nerve and soul, which is exactly what I try to do. They inspire me and I hope they'll inspire you too.
