SAS presents #TrueTravelerMusic: TooManyLeftHands
The Copenhagen-based dj duo TooManyLeftHands consists of Martin Nick and Anders Kanstrup. Although they are relatively new on the Danish music scene, they’ve made their mark in record time. Last year they played 150 gigs in and outside of Denmark, at festivals, street parties and the world’s biggest club in Ibiza.
So far, 2015 has brought with it a prize for ”Danish dj:s of the year” and gigs at some of the biggest festivals in Scandinavia as well as a return to their favorite place, Ibiza. Their latest single “Trouble” was successful in the Nordics, and their brand new single “Too Young To Die” that is out now is a summery track, filled with feel good vibes. Listen to ”Too Young To Die” here!
Here, they share their current favorite music:
MØ - Pilgrim
The Danish singer Mø caught our attention in 2013 with the track ”Pilgrim”. She’s made herself a name, on the Danish as well as the international music scene through collaborations with Major Lazer and DJ Snake on the track ”Lean On”. Mø is the next Danish superstar, and we look forward to hearing much more from her.
Kölsch ft. Troels Abrahamsen - All That Matters
For many, Kölsch is more known under the moniker Rune Rk, or Enur, under which he’s sold millions of albums and charted worldwide. But right now, Kölsch is what’s hot, especially outside the Scandinavian borders. Right now, Kölsch is playing his melodic techno around the world every week, at some of the biggest venues and festivals around. We enjoy hearing Kölsch, both live and in our headphones.
Lukas Graham – Mama Said
Lukas Graham is a Danish band consisting of the singer Lukas Graham, Mark Falgren, Magnus Larsson and Kasper Daugaard. They’ve been successful with the mix of soul, funk, hip hop and pop that they themselves called ghettopop, racking up over 80 million listens on Spotify.
The band released a new album called ”Lucas Graham (Blue album)” on June 16th, and there’s no doubt about it being jam packed with hits.
