Catch the “in” crowd

Just a stone’s throw from the traditionally high-end Strandvägen, Brasserie Astoria and its bars will make you feel you’ve truly arrived. In Stockholm.

Never a dull visit

The Museum of Modern Art always has something interesting to offer, and that includes the fantastic view over the Old Town across the bay from the restaurant and bar.

Shout it from the rooftops

Slightly off the beaten path, and yet right in the heart of town, between Sergels Torg and Kungsträdsgården you’ll find TAK – literally “roof” – and its great rooftop bar and terrace. Superb view over the city.

A day at the opera

Next door to TAK is the Royal Opera House, home of the Royal Swedish Opera and Royal Swedish Ballet. Let them take your breath away and then go for a classic Swedish fine dining experience at Operakällaren. The Opera Menu comes in three- and four-course versions and takes 2-3 hours.

Living history

Riche, in the heart of the city, will turn 110 years old in 2023. It’s the place to be and a place to meet. Its cuisine is traditional Swedish and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Get out of town

Stockholm is a town built on islands between the Baltic Sea and Lake Mälaren. Take advantage of that and take a boat to Fjäderholmarna for lunch. A ferry from the Old Town to the main island takes about 25 minutes. Once there, make a day of it and enjoy the nature, craft shops and restaurants.
