I love walking in the beautiful Österlen countryside and in the forests around St Olof to pick mushrooms, go jogging and enjoy picnics.

Hotel 717

I absolutely love this city with all the canals, small streets, houses and cyclists everywhere. You take your life in your hands driving a car, but it’s more adventurous and exciting as a passenger seeing what’s happening and everything around you. If you manage to find a parking spot, check into Hotell 717 and enjoy.

Kødbyen

I always love driving along the coast to Copenhagen and recommend the fantastic fish dishes – actually all the dishes – at Kødbyen in Vesterbro.

Szimpla

When I was filming in Budapest, I discovered an incredible number of fantastic little hideaways. The city is full of undiscovered bars, markets and if you are interested in architecture, it has an amazing number of rundown buildings that are now being revived with a few candles, chairs, a few people and voilà, you’ve got a place to go just around the corner. Every Sunday, I went food shopping at Szimpla Kert Farmers Market, which is also a bar in the evenings.

The Smile

When I’m in New York, I always try to find the time to go to The Smile. They have a super choice of good and healthy breakfasts and a relaxed ambiance. Bring a board game, a pack of cards or a newspaper, order a cappuccino and start the day here. If you’re in New York for an extended stay, I recommend heading to the Puerto Rican Coffee Shop where you can choose from bags full to the brim with coffee beans. The aroma is amazing.
