Mmm… pizza
Crispy, with a thin base and great toppings. Family time is always fun at Villa Paradiso, because everybody loves pizza! And yes, of course you can get an antipasto or three. No wonder there’s always a large number of strollers at this restaurant in Grünerløkka.

On the quayside
At Vippa, on the site of the former Vippetangen ferry station, you can taste tacos like they make in Mexico or enjoy a burger or some falafel. Or how about some Eritrean injera? This large hall is home to several small permanent and guest stalls selling food and drink, so there’s plenty to choose from. There’s lots of room for strollers too. Round off your international meal with an ice cream and take a walk along the harbor.

If you’ve ever been to Thailand and are longing for some tom yum soup and sandy beaches, then just take the next streetcar to Yaya’s. Whatever the weather in Oslo, you’ll always find a tropical climate here, with beach chairs and the pleasant chirping of birds, because the restaurant is decked out as a Thai beach restaurant. Why not try a chocolate fudge milkshake? If that sounds a bit too calorific for your liking, there are healthier options available. Kverneriet has three restaurants: One at Henriks Ibsens gate 100 on Solli plass square, one in Tønsberg and one in Majorstuen. The whole family will have a great time here. Guaranteed.
