Arctic Guide Service will take you on a 5km-long hike to Lofoten’s fantastic winter beaches. Nestling between steep mountains are the beaches of Haukland and Uttakleiv. Enjoy a hot drink around the bonfire and the Northern Lights may put on a show if you’re lucky.

Hov Hestegård stables offer riding tours all year round. Hov is situated on the coast of Lofoten, facing north and with no mountains blocking the view, which makes it an excellent starting point for experiencing the Northern Lights. Naturally, they offer late-night rides so you can marvel at the overhead display as you ride. The riding tours take you along white beaches, past ancient Viking monuments and to a small fishing village at a leisurely pace.
